Jamie has been with Care Animal Hospital since the opening in 1997. She has over twenty years of experience in making the pets of Muncie look their best. Jamie lives in Summitville and shares her home with 6 dogs, Addie Mae, a Husky mix, Lilly Pearl, and English Setter mix, Scooby Doo, an Australian Shepard mix, Katie Bob, a Rat Terrier mix, Booboo Bear, and a Shetland Sheepdog mix. There are also several barn cats running around the place that keep Jamie’s cows company. Her favorites are a couple of Angus gals named Lavern and Shirley. When Jamie is not taking care of all her animals, she enjoys gardening, spending time in her pool and hitting the town for some serious shopping. |
The boarding facilities offer top of the line care that can only be offered when you board your pet at an American Animal Hospital Association certified hospital. While your pet is boarding, the following services are available:
- Extra walks
- Extra pampering
- Extra playtime
- Nail Trims
- Baths
- Grooms
- Vaccinations
- Dental Cleaning
All guests at our boarding facility are fed Eukanuba Low-Residue dry food once a day unless you prefer a different feeding schedule. If your pet is a finicky eater, we recommend that you bring his favorite food. Guests are walked twice a day, unless otherwise specified. You can check-in and check-out your pet anytime during office hours. Please make sure you bring any medication your pet is currently taking so that we can administer the proper dosages during his stay.
Boarding Choices
For large canines (or small siblings who would do well in the same cage), we offer indoor/outdoor runs. With only ten runs available, this is the area of boarding that is full the most so call well in advance to reserve your pet's stay. For large dogs to use when the runs are not available, Care Animal Hospital has five large cages. These typically hold dogs that weigh more than 50 pounds. The next size cage is medium, which holds your pets that weigh between 25 and 50 pounds. For canines under 25 pounds, we provide small cages.
For your feline companion, Care Animal Hospital has a separate ward just for cats! This allows them a quiet space away from the dogs to relax, nap, or play with the sanitized toys that the hospital keeps on hand for hours of entertainment.
