Doctors [top]
	Dr. Mike Brown is originally from Manhattan, Kansas and currently resides in Muncie with his wife Lisa and two daughters Katie and Lauren. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University. Dr. Brown has practiced medicine in Pennsylvania and Indianapolis before opening Care Animal Hospital in 1997. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Indiana Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. In his spare time Dr. Brown enjoys working on projects in his workshop and camping in the great outdoors. mwbdvm@care-animal.com

	Dr. Andy Fipp has worked for Care Animal Hospital since April of 2006. Prior to that, he practiced in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Andy is originally from Leo, Indiana but has relocated to Muncie and shares his home with Miss Speckles, a Dalmatian mix. He is a 2005 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Fipp is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Indiana Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. He takes special interest in cardiology and dentistry. 	Amanda has been the Practice Manager of Care Animal Hospital for over two years now. She is originally from Arcadia, but currently lives in Alexandria with her husband Tony, son Jarrett along with two dogs, Pedro, an Australian Cattle Dog and Cricket, a Welsh Pembroke Corgi. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Animal Science and Master of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma State University. When she is not living at the hospital, Amanda enjoys showing beef cattle, spending time with her family and working on home improvement projects that just never seem to get done. amorris@care-animal.com

	Julie has worked for Care Animal Hospital since February of 2003 and was recently promoted to the position of Internal Marketing Coordinator. She is originally from Frankfort, but currently lives in Anderson with her daughter Sheradan. They share the house with three cats; Symon, Sammy and Murphy or maybe the cats share the house with Julie and Sheradan. Technicians [top]
	Jennie has worked for Care Animal Hospital for over five years now! She has a Bachelor Degree in Zoology from Ball State University. Jennie is originally from East Chicago, Indiana, but currently resides here in Muncie with her husband Alan and son Jacob. They share their home with a Golden Retriever, Remington, and three cats, Nutsy, Bailey, and Linus! Alan also manages the fish in the aquarium. Jennie keeps us all very organized here at Care Animal Hospital, but likes to spend her time outside of the hospital reading, working on her house and yard as well as collecting Snoopy memorabilia.

	Tanya has worked at Care Animal Hospital since June of 2003 and is a member of our surgical technician team. She is originally from Muncie, but currently calls Eaton home where she lives with David, her husband of 16 years, her son Logan and daughter Ashliegh. They share their home with four dogs, Gunner, an Old English Sheepdog, Jenna, a Great Pyrenees Mix, Tico, a Chihuahua, and Marlee, a Beagle mix. She also shares the house with 17 cats! That's right 17. Tanya has over 15 years of veterinary assistant experience and spends her spare time watching her children in their various athletic events.

	Joan has worked for Care Animal Hospital for nearly five years. She is originally from Northern Indiana, but currently lives here in Muncie with her three kids. They share their home with Cooper, a Golden Retriever and Emma, the guinea pig who plans to live forever. When Joan is not taking care of the surgery and hospitalized patients here at Care Animal Hospital, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, baking and cheering on her favorite team, the Chicago Bears.

	Janette grew up in Muncie, graduated from South Side High School and currently lives in Eaton with her husband David and daughter Elaine. Janette's zoo consists of two dogs, Bear and Petey, four cats, Junior, Lemmie, Jedi and Spots, two birds, Buddy and Frank, a rabbit named Hopper, two gerbils Speedy and Rascal and three horses who go by Duke, Shelby and Red! When she is not on surgical duty here at Care Animal Hospital, Janette loves to study genealogy, listen to music, read and go horseback riding.



	Kristen has been with the Care Animal Hospital staff since November of 2005. She was born and raised in Portland and still travels from there to Muncie everyday. Kristen, like most of us here at Care Animal Hospital, operates a zoo at home. It consists of 5 cats, Spunkers, "B," Kidding, Rufus and Itty Bitty, 2 dogs; Obie, a Welsh Pembroke Corgi and Jake, a Walker Coonhound. She rounds out the zoo with fish and a bird named Green Bean. Before coming to work here, Kristen worked for over 4 years at Portland Veterinary Clinic. In her spare time she has earned her EMT-B certification and enjoys spending time outdoors and hunting.

	Loretta is one of our newest employees having started in May of 2006. However, she has had many years of experience working as a veterinary assistant before joining the team at Care Animal Hospital. She is originally from Muncie and continues to live here with her husband Garry and their five wonderful cats: Sammie, Porter, Mooch, Eartha and Minnie! Loretta attended Ball State to study Wildlife and English. In her spare time she loves to watch classic movies (anything before 1960), reading, and traveling with her husband to his various softball games and tournaments.
Front Desk [top]
	Lisa has been with Care Animal Hospital since September of 2005. She is originally from Muncie, but worked for a Veterinary Hospital in Florida before moving back to Indiana. She shares her home with her puppy, Braxton, a St. Bernard mix, and two kitties, Sebastian and Lilly, who have opposite personalities. Sebastian cannot get enough attention and Lilly basically only comes home to eat. In her spare time, Lisa tries to get back to the beach, but also enjoys swimming and relaxing with her pets. She really enjoys seeing everyone and their pets when you come in our door.


Kennel Staff [top]


	Christina has worked at Care Animal Hospital as a kennel assistant for over two years now. She was born and raised in Muncie and still resides here with her husband Dewayne and her daughters, Desteny and Adrieonna. When Christina is not caring for the animals here at the hospital, she is taking care of her zoo at home which consists of two dogs, Licorice and Trixie, three cats, Tonka, Snowball and Mally, a rabbit named Easter, a hamster and then 6 beautiful birds. In her spare time, she loves spending time with friends and family.

	Katie has been taking care of the boarding dogs and cats for over a year now. She lives in Muncie with her mom, dad and sister. Katie's pets consist of Emma, a Labrador Retriever, Sydney, an Australian Shepard, Leo, a Beagle mix, two cats, Alvin and Noel, and two birds, Omni and Deon. Katie is a student at Wes-Del High School and is active in golf, swimming and Band. She is also a member of 4-H where she participates in Dog Obedience and Bee Keeping. She is also an active member of the Girl Scouts.
